Well while visiting Family in DeKalb Ill my dad and I took advantage of the UP's Geneva Sub and Rochelle Illinois. This is the main railfanning day and we caught numerous trains at the park.

8:12 AM- A UP EB Pounds across the crossovers at Dement while a BNSF EB Blows for the many crossings in Rochelle.

9:30 AM- A UP WB Hammers the Diamonds 30 minutes after the BNSF Stack train with a Couple Gevos and 70M. After this stacks head end gets across it meets a EB Freight with a Shabby looking SD70ACe and SD70M.

  • Nice, great weather, great catch at 09:49, good videos, but I, personally, would never visit there.

  • Thanks, Yeah Im not a big fan of this location either, Im more of a Country Lone railfanner.

  • Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It would be cool to go to Donner or Cajon, nice grades and good scenery. I like that diamond though. But I think I will stay in the east where I can see my SD40-2's, SD60's, and SD70's. :-)

  • Haha Yeah, I get the same down south.

  • I wanna see more CNIC videos! Just got back from getting a train with a CN D9-44CWL 2510 and CN D9-44CW 2606. Your CN/IC videos are my FAVORITE! I like the road too. We'll see what the Canadians through at me next.

  • LOL Ok I will have to go to the CN More Often, Unfortunatly they arent that busy now..
