The Fit Elvis Sandwich

Nice! But watch your skillet there, ms. Stiles! It's smoking! What olive oil are you using? Not the yummy extra virgin you drizzle on salads, I hope? The low smoking point on extra virigin makes it unsuitable for high temp cooking. Plus the olive taste is overpowering. Personally I'm very sceptical towards butter substitutes. Tends to end up as a trans fat mess. And soy ... There's so much conflicting information these days, I don't know what to believe anymore. What's your view?

@karikalahari I thought the same thing––maybe try grapeseed oil as it remains stable at a higher temp!

I love these, I usually have a PB & B for breakfast most days. I use a spray of pam and our big boss grill so less oily and it is smooshed and has the grill marks. Breakfast of champions!!

I like how your shirt resonates with the theme of the video! It resembles Elvis' style somewhat :)

I make this sandwich for my son all the time. He loves it! Altho, in lieu of almond butter, I use Nutella. Yeah, probably not so 'fit' with the substitution there ;)

What's the difference with a "normal" Elvis sandwich?

Looks delicious; can't wait to try it out :)

Earth Balance also has a soy free (dairy free as well) butter substitute out on the market for those concerned about consuming soy.

Thanks for posting! Love your vids! Coconut oil is a great sub for butter! Olive oil is not suitable for cooking at high temperatures, as it damages the molecules- changing them in to free radicals. Coconut oil has a very high smoke point and is the best oil to ever use in baking or frying, etc. :)
nice top cool video as always ...lovin your work as always
