could the unified field be identified as GOD and as a wave form or energy when your material mass of body eventually wears out (yuo die) you return to this all knowing, omnipotent consciousness??

I find this very fascinating... just wondering, what major (s) or career does one pursue to reach these type of conclusions on consciousness? I'm trying to figure out what I want to do in the future and this seems like a very interesting and fulfilling subject.
