So you are collecting the fish to get their eggs and sperm, but doosent the electricity do the fish harm?

@bugattiveyron1789 It happens. But the risk it happens is very low. It is a matter of being very careful adjusting the power before you start. The people you see in the video using the tool for electro fishing has all been “to school” before they are allowed electro fishing. Most times “Fisheries Police” come looking it is done right. what did you guys use as the electrical source... a generator or something...???

@reniV1 A small generator i placed behind in the little boat. It is the generator you can hear in the video. It is not as load as it seems to. Microphone in the liitle video recorder is not the best.

@reniV1 As this recording was done (2005): No. The Angling Lodge used "self made" gear for adjusting the power, security (power off) and so on. This is not allowed today. Now there is a law about what is to use. But I don't no the name of their gear today. There is a lot of products for electro fishing on the market. The Technical University of Denmark is still testing them; what can be used legal or not.
