Yes he does have great tone amazing composer I think he is useing a compresion sustainer but I very well could be wrong I am a huge finger stylist and a huge fan of the harp guitar. I wish he played one he would have some heavenly drones!!!

I know everybody plays with their strings in tune...but why does Masaaki always seem to be MORE in tune than anyone else??Absolutely perfect! Such command! Such tone! And the echo allows him to compose with notes of any duration.
Also, while I very much respect the 'organic' nature of a lot of fingerstyle picking, Master Kishibe NEVER plays a note just because it's there, or just because his fingers are there...know what I mean?
