  • Thanks so much for your kind words. The workers at this funeral home are wonderful people and it was a privilege to be able to share their world.

  • what was the book that she said

  • @lcamacho97

The book referred to is "The Principles and Practice of Embalming", 5th Edition by Clarence G Strub and L G "Darko" Frederick. People in funeral service refer to it informally as "Freddy and Strub." It's the definitive textbook on embalming and required reading for any student

  • im soon to be a senior in highschool and i really want to be an embalmer so bad imma go to Texas to study hopefully. this was great to watch

  • This video demonstrates why I left clinical healthcare and went into deathcare. It's good to feel like you've helped someone on the worst day of their life when someone they love dies. It's a great feeling to ease soneone else's pain.

  • Thanks for the video! :) Very interesting to watch. I'm interning right now at a Funeral Home. So most of the things in the video i am familiar with except the embalming process because I am not allowed in the embalming room while it's occupied. Interesting to learn about the tools and such. Thanks again!

  • @Baldgol4 I was always curious about this myself. I found out that, yes the blood and bodily fluids are disposed of in the public sewers. However, any virus or disease in the fluids would be almost instantly destroyed upon entering the sewer.

  • why do canadians talk so fast?

  • Is the blood flushed down into the public sewer system and if so, isn't that dangerous? Sewage back-up incidents happen now and then and people end up with sewage in the lower level of their homes. I hate to think that sewage may have diseased human blood in it along with everything else. UGH.

  • @parsleysprigs Look up "green Burial". This is the better way for a body to return to the earth.

  • If that blonde were the last person in the world to see my naughty bits I would be OK with that.

  • I didnt like the way my father looked when he died. I told them right when I saw him that they did a horrible job and that it wasn't my father in the casket. I was so mad.

  • This was done with such class and taste. Well Done!! Most of these get too damn graphic but you guys were as close to perfect as could be done.
