  • paula deen sure is good at wiping up some buttery carn! pronounce it C A R N or sit in the carner!!!

  • creme carn!!!

  • so where the fucks the cream

  • @aurayon rabbit paté cannot have 1.5 lbs. of pork fat in it, unless he's making it for like 50 people. He's making classical french cuisine and I'd feel "healthier" downing some Burgundy chardonnay and eating his rabbit terrine than sitting at paula's table with a stick and a half of butter in the creamed corn. but the french cuisine is much lighter than the southern food. I know it would be my preference.

  • @iwanttoholdyourbigkn I'm flipping through his "Les Halles Cookbook" right now, and there's plenty of fattening foods on the menu: Pate de Lapin has 1.5 lbs of pork fat; Rillettes has 1 lb of pork fat; Ognlet Gascon has bone marrow and butter sauce, etc, etc. I've read all his books and am a huge fan of his, but he's definitely not a health advocate. People who hate Paula Deen are simply projecting their bias against American Southern cooking. Apparently "culture" is subjective? I don't get it

  • @aurayon yeah but he's done his cooking and ran his restaurants earlier in his career and never cooked like this. he's out there bringing culture to the people through food and his travels. the only thing PD is doing is giving them clogged arteries. healthy is the way to go - and dive bars doesnt necessarily always mean stick of butter on top of everything.

  • @iwanttoholdyourbigkn Bourdain eats plenty of fatty foods, too. Also, he's mostly a writer / t.v. host, not so much a chef. I do love his show, though.

  • It's good to eat this ONCE in a while but all the time will lead to a heart attack!

  • The most dumb and mean spirited people comment on Paula Deen videos. It's disgusting. And some moron always goes "Her cholesterol must be throughout the roof. Heart attack on a plate." when you're Paula's doctor then you can comment so don't worry about Paula. She's fine. Worry about your own health. And the last time I checked, that's how you cook creamed corn. If you're worried that it's a "heart attack" then don't eat it.

  • @hds12 damn straight I did.........down with Paula "the fat pig" Dean!!! Team Bordaine!!!!
