"Voluminous"??? She looked wonderful! Much better than the skeletal being she was prior to this, and how the MGM powers-that-be wanted her to look.

MGM worked this phenomenal talent to death. They got their money's worth out of her. I wonder how many of us could work 6 days a week, 12 hours a day, from the age of 14, one film after another for 15 years and be perfect all the time without collapsing from emotional and physical exhaustion.

I was lucky enough to meet Mr.Eddie Bracken before he passed away..he was a sweet,kindly and talented gentleman..he knew about Judy's problems..but he knew that there was very little that anybody could do to prevent her from ruining herself.

I wonder what Comic/character actor and song and dance man:Phil Silvers thought about working with Judy on "Summer Stock!"at MGM back then?

On set clashes..The hell those were onset clashess..he abused and treated Judy like dirt on that movie and Berkley ruined that movie for the both of them
