Hookahpro.com - Remove Burn Marks from Hardwood

Here's a quick tutorial I made for removing/repairing/masking burn marks from your hardwood floors and whatnot. It's not a perfect fix, but its more appealing than black marks on a light surface.

You can use Tung, Boiled Linseed, or Teak oil to match your hardwood. If you can, use these because the oil will produce somewhat of a sheen to match your wood sheen. If you use the stain pens, they will not leave a sheen and will stick out more.

Also, when trying colors, if it does not match you can scratch off the applied color and apply something else.

Great review Dok, I'm sure people are wondering how to get rid of burn marks from carpet... I don't know that was just my thought on the matter. :)

@Rosi3Ducky haha, thanks rosie.. I usually just cut out the melted carpet as close to the good carpet underneath as possible.. Usually when you get it off and fluff up the remaining carpet it's not too noticeable.. In fact, I melted my room mate's carpet and cut it out with cuticle scissors and he never noticed... haha

Thanks for making and sharing this cool video, but as usual I must preach too: prevention is better than cure, avoid the hookah and save yourself burn marks inside and out.
