This was a number one hit in 1958 along with Witch Doctor, Yakety-Yak, Splish Splash & Raunchy among others. Quite a year, huh? It was recorded by artist Cozy Cole and I had actually never heard of it until a pop organ teacher that I took lessons from years ago taught me to play it. It's now one of my favorites. I added the harpsichord bit from the DX7II. And a big special thanks to Bob Hayes 'HAMAROUND' for taking my song and editing it into an incredible mix with some vintage video of the great Cozy Cole. What an honor!

  • Simply Beautiful!! I really love your style of playing and this kind of music. Thanks so much for sharing this with us.

  • Thanks for your comment. I enjoy bringing back the old Hammond playing style of the 60s.

  • Love your style of playing, but, darn you, I can't get this song out of my head now! Had to add it to my faves.

    Blessings!

  • Ha! My head was ringing with this song for three days and nights after I recorded it. It took a lot of takes to get it just right. Thanks for your comment.

  • The reverb on the A100 really adds to the effect in this one. Love the sound!

  • I couldn't live without reverb. I have the A100 and DX7II routed through an Alesis Midifex reverb processor which generates 63 different reverb effects. Glad you liked the sound and thanks for your comment.

  • Absolutely tremendous... I played this thing over about 5 times.

VERY nicely done and I hope to be able to play a FRACTION of this quality someday on my Kurzy K2500.
