@GoneWithTheWind2013 The person was talking about self control issues, not thyroid problems. Eating disorders are not diseases, they are DISORDERS that people with no self esteem form. You talk about him being close minded, yet he is the one making a valid point which you are choosing to ignore because of your "problems".

@GoneWithTheWind2013 Cool story bro.

@PinuyashaRPG okay judgmental bitch, I'm on 5 different meds from a pelvis disease and anxiety and I am battling anorexia and bulimia so don't tell me that I'm making excuses. You try to lose weight when your battling all this. Thank you for making my life better. A lot of us do have real issues but your to close minded to see it!!

@GoneWithTheWind2013 Yeah, because the majority of the US population has a thyroid problem, compulsive eating disorder, and can't afford to eat right. Or maybe the majority of the US population makes too many damn excuses for themselves about why they're fat. And I'm sure you're one those special "can't help that I'm fat" angels too, right? You downplay the people who have real problems when everyone jumps on those excuses.

@PinuyashaRPG really no self control?? Have you forgotten there are diseases of cumpulsive eating because you can't control your emotions? Have you forgotten different diseases like thyroid problems where you can't lose the weight or the fact that people can't afford healthy food? Why don't you stop judging because you don't know what anyone is going through! This comment was downright ignorant and it's why people have eating disorders or other problems with self-hatred.

@bookcreator I can agree that media pressure is higher, but people being too damn lazy to exercise and their inability to stop eating so much crap is their own fault. It's one thing to blame media for promoting anorexia, it's another to remove the blame from people who have no self control.

@halflinks Let me get this straight: The 'smart' thing to do is to continue this self-distructive trend that leads to so many people hurting and killing themselves for the sake of the few people lucky enough to get rich.
King Louie, I'll see you at the guillotine.
ps: if you ever have any children, (god forbid you do) they'll probably end up in the hospital for malnutrition or ulcers thanks to the values you will push on them.
But hey, at least you can afford that 'world's greatest parent' mug.
Ur obviously very insecure if u feel the need 2 let everyone kno that ur in the 'top 5%'. Hopefully u have something more to offer ppl than just a 'nice figure'.

I agree, a very unrealistic ideal is portrayed in the media over and over again and every one is trying to be overly sexual to fit in. When young people try to be sexy just to be cool, they lose their character and morals.
