@MsColoradodoc Women never had that luxury, they were like blades of grass in the wind, which is what this story line portrays. If you disbelieve , try watching some of the Modern day shows like: Wife Swap, or my Big Fat Gypsy wedding and see how Pathetic these SO CALLED MODERN day women are. Fiction or not, it's believable because every female that watches this, has been treated in a similar fashion.

these people are actors and this is all fiction. If they were making good decsions, it wouldn't be any fun to watch.

Karen should have been out fishing, plowing, growing veggies - not enjoying the moments of sex. That is her downfall. And Elizabeth can't even take simple care of her own child. These are two women I hope I never meet.

Elizabeth is so self-centered. She was all set to run after Poldark after marrying his cousin, Francis and having a child with that idiot. Then has no sympathy for Verity or faith in Verity's judgment or thought that Verity might ever have her own life. I just want to kick her.
