A few weeks ago, I made a video review of the Eye Clops Mini Projector. I was not able to give a demo of it in that video, because at the time, it was not working. I finally got it to work, and here's a demo of it. For what it's worth, it does pretty darn good.

  • Would it be good with an iPod touch I might buy the cords for that stuff

  • @wolfdude1998 Hmm, I've never tried that before (on account that I do not own an iPOD touch.) If you got some special cables for it, it's possible that it could work.

  • it looks like crap... you can't even see the pic... its blurry blurry

  • @carlos53k You get what you pay for. It's not a high tech projector, but it works fine. I don't know why people keep calling it crap. The image isn't in great depth, but it's not crap. You can see the picture just fine.

  • Oh and BTW here is a comparison between the eyeclops and AAXA P1 pico projector (same specs as a 3M MPro110).

now tell me. which one would you rather buy.

  • I would recommend on NOT getting a EyeClops, its a waste of $50.

the picture output is way too dark. and it gets worse when playing a already dark game (you will hardly see it).

most smaller text on the screen is hardly readable.

the screen resolution (320x240) is too low to be really crisp and to enjoy playing a game on it.

save your money and buy a 3M MPro110 which is brighter, higher resolution (640x480).

This is just a toy, the price and picture quality should be enough to tell you.

Using a VGA to Composite adapter doesn't make any difference. If you used that you could display 1,000000X1,000000 on a superold telly that had composite plugs. Sorry, doesn't work that way. Good try though ☺.

  • @2BunnyReturns Look at the video I just uploaded. I'm using the eyeclops projector with my laptop. The device outputs whatever resolution it wants the thing just shows it on the screen. Higher resolution allows you to fit more on the same amount of space and seeing how I can fit so much on the screen there is no way it is 320x200 or whatever people are saying...people don't know what they're talking about. I show what the text looks like with different font sizes, hope that'll help people.

  • @nambinhvu

    Right and wrong.

Wrong because there is no such thing as a "converter" to get higher resolutions out of composite.

Right because you can use Dualview to put something different on your other monitor. But most computers can do that. Can't yours?

  • @2BunnyReturns Well, I guess when I get it and try it I'll let you know how it works. The converter allows you to put higher resolutions, so I'll see how it works. And did you know you can use multiple screens with a laptop? I'm not sure what time you're in, but you can duplicate, extend, or use a separate monitor. That way you can use one for movies, while you use the other for chatting or something.
