What tasks do u have to do to get a service dog? I want my dog to become one, but I don't exactly no everything.

@MrsJacobi Pinch Collars are for dogs who;
a) are a little slower
b) have heavy neck muscles
c) are too smart for there own good
d) or there owners need a little bit of help

It is for me no good training she work with a prong collor

Wow! Excellent obedience!

This seems like a nice calm dog. If she is a "service dog" what are her tasks? ADA required the dog perform tasks which mitigate the disability. Also while there is no reason not to use a pinch collar in training, you should not use one during a test or during PA. Service dog Certification requires the dog to be reliable without special collars. (I am a trainer and tester for an accredited school) PA test are run in public places, with much more complicated tests than just simple obedience.

She is doing well with her obedience! What tasks is she learning?

why would u be using a prong during a test?

It is so refreshing to see a dog perform without having to be baited and the dog losing focus as so many do these days.
The dog looks confident, focused, and happy.. G R E A T J O B!
Thanks for setting and reaching such high standards,

That is a very nice, beautiful rottweiler you've got there :)

beautifully trained pup you've got there! You seemed a little nervous but obviously your dog was very confident and comfortable, she did wonderfully! I hope to get my boy to this point soon enough :)
btw: those who object to pinch collars on all dogs have not done the research behind them....they do not stab, strangle, or rip skin when used properly and to be honest, even if used improperly that would be quite difficult. Put one on sometime and have a "handler" walk you around, there's no pain.
Love this video Cheri!! Theres that sweet Tara. Proud to say knowing this dog in person, she is a great specimen of the breed and deserves her Service Dog Cert!!! She is wonderful Jero is winking to her. :-)

Pinch and Prong collars are the same thing, right? I think they are the miracle collar! My heeler pulled so bad before I put my Rott's prong collar on her, we ended up getting the heeler her own prong collar! It's the most natural collar I've heard of, I think they pretty much allow you to assert your dominance to the dog in a way the dog will understand, a "nip" in the neck. You are a great trainer!

Only someone uneducated in training a dog would think a pinch collar is "abuse" . I have a pinch collar for my little chihuahua and she does fine with it. It is an excellent training tool! Congratulations on your beautiful Show Dog Tara!! Keep up the good work! It's people like you that are educating our society about dogs in general and Rotties in particular!! GOOD JOB to you both!! :)

Thank you. My friend has a mini pinch for her little dog and it has helped her a great deal. I appreciate your possitive reply this other person is seeming it fun to slaughter me, so I blocked her from being able to make comments. I however am leaving her past negative comments up for just the reasons you mentioned. Thanks again.
