@2468DDT They went to college together, and Cliff has a Doctorate in Medicine and actually works as a physician. His well educated and fairly smart with common sense, it's just Claire has faster wit and is a better speaker because she's a well practiced attorney.

I have watched several of these episodes back to back for several nights and there seems to be 1 dislike for many of them. I think the same person is just going from episode to episode pushing dislike...that must be one miserable person.
