  • @MrAssbaron

That's if Boeing and Airbus actually come out with something new in the next 5 years. If the C-series works out and B/A has nothing to counter, they might be able to pull off 500 frames.

  • @youngfart40 Right on my man...You hit a bulls eye.

  • @MrAssbaron Quebec eh? well what do you expect? Arent they mostly french frogs? They probably do business airbus style. Over priced and over paid.

  • That's Bombardier's work team, Quebec style. One guy works to transport the thing and twenty overpaid knuckleheads to watch. Where's the economics?

  • If they take a few paltry orders away from Boeing it's because they'll get the Canadian government involved in dirty financing of this dud just to buy time.

Already the development cost is 3.5 billion, up from the original 2 billion. A they still don't have a prototype yet.

  • Taking into account the scale of the tube diameter versus the humans standing next to it, add the seats, paneling and other amenities and that doesn't look like a roomy plane. But then again that's a layman's perspective.

  • I know the guy who wrapped it in the protective wrap

  • It's probably the same guy who copied the interior of the Dornier 728 jet

  • This Fuselage Test Barrel is made in Shenyang, China

  • Good to get a sense of scale for this airplane. Still smaller than most 737's, but just big enough to start taking a bit out of Boeing's marketplace. I look forward to seeing more.
