Wait, wait, wait. Did she just say, "If I were a woman..."?

lol.....look at jaques' face at 1:55,has a sad look as always even in a happy event like marriage ceremony... :p

This was odd, no question, but I think Branagh had to make it very odd to be effective for the modern "world-weary" viewer. He needed to make it as exotic and fluffy and strange as possible so we the audience could experience some of what it was like to be transposed to a Forest of Arden. Also, I loved Branagh's moving camera throughout this film.

Lol, didn't expect the Epilogue like that :P

The three brothers look so similar its scary o.O
-
I love the ending dances and music that Branagh includes at the end of the play.

@Augiegrl12 Haha there's a lot worse. Try putting this play in a modern setting, like in an apartment instead of an orchard, and some lot behind a construction site instead of a forest, while changing none of the original verse. Bleugh! I think this one is weird, but easily digestible.
Ha, the epilogue is the best part.

A good play, a questionable interpretation, a fine act.
