@mrBasterd1981 I agree that the ending of the game was strange. Since the whole point of the game was saving kids on different levels, I thought a better ending could have shown that the Black Manta became very popular in the newspaper for being a hero. Also, the ending could have shown that it monitors you to say which kids you rescued and which ones you didn't just so you rescue every kid on every level. (If you forgot a kid on a level, it could have said "one forgotten kid on level 3").

invisibility makes you invulnerable btw. so pretty much not using that is kinda retarded

IREMEMBER THIS GAME YEARS AGO WHEN FIGHTING THE LAST BOSS HOLDING THE KID HOSTAGE YOU HAVE TO KNOW THE RIGHT COMBINATION ATTACK IN ORDER TO DEFEAT HIM DODGING HIS FIREBALLS IS EASY

I remember testing this game out at that big Nintendo tournament and Expo back in '89 or '90. I passed over Ninja Gaiden 2 to get this game. Yeah, that surprises many, but the first NG was just too effin hard and this one was more my style, slower paced and requring some thinking instead of lightning fast reflexes and timing. One of the first games I actually beat as a kid.

Great game. I could never figure out the combination to beat the boss though :(
