@ZGippe40GK 2 completely different genres man. Alter bridge in my opinion are so under rated as a band, I'm still a huge fan of slash, but i would have to say alter bridge, musically are better. And before you start a little rave at me, i've seen both live within a few months of eachother so i have every right as anyone else to make this decision. But i think we can all agree Slash>Guns n roses (2012 version)

@ZGippe40GK slash isn't technically on par with tremonti though. I imagine the reason they did this song is because it didnt require an obscure scale that slash wouldn't be able to follow.

ok, try to get this.
The single cut was the instrument that GIbson tried (like the dicks they are) to block/ The Tremonti wasn't the guitar named.

@ThieleM yeah but they had the singlecuts until the Tremonti came out and then they sued and stopped production of all prs singlecuts the Tremonti stopped production too so they existed

You said "actually the Tremonti got them in trouble with Gibson because its similar to the LP." So don't come at me with a 'no duh' when you are the one that is incorrect.
The single cut lawsuit was entered in court before the Tremonti existed....it had nothing to do with the Tremonti mode.

Slash should just join Alter Bridge! Before you say Slash is too good for Alter Bridge, you might be right. But Alter Bridge can seriously shred and I think Slash would be a sick addition. Think about it, Slash, Tremonti, and Kennedy would be a force people couldnt even handle because it is just so sick. In addition, Slash blends right in with those guys.
