The Contender Season 1. Episode 1 - Random Acts of Courage pt 2

Sixteen professional boxers from across the country compete in an uphill battle to become the Contender. In their inaugural challenge, the fighters are divided into two groups -- East vs.West -- and pitted against each other in a competition that will test more than their physical endurance and leave one group with an unenviable decision. Meanwhile, history is made when the first-ever Contender match-up takes place as one fighter from each team squares off to earn the right to move on to the next round.

@maxgunn555 Oh, it's no question that Ishe's tactic was terrible and ruthless, but that's a lesson in terms of life. Not everyone is going to play the game fairly, whether it's boxing, or anything else that you do. The more you pay attention, the more people (like Ishe) are gonna provoke you. Every time you lose focus, you're leaving an open door for your opponent to slam you.

@crpsaiyan 'he's going to do whatever it takes to be successful' - exactly he became a douche probably because of that reason. being a douche is wrong pure and simple. just because it happened to better his chances of a personal goal is besides the point. if you're being a douche to someone you're affecting that someone then and there during the very act of being a douche. basically iche is a douche and that's wrong.

@maxgunn555 One could argue that Ishe's tactics were a low blow. At the same time, he never lost focus on what Sugar Ray said -- "what's going to determine who wins, is your heart and your mind. If you want it, go for it", which is exactly what Ishe did. He's tough and determined, and he's going to do whatever it takes to be successful. If Ahmed loses his focus because of what Ishe said, chances are, he's not going to last very long in this competition. :( Rule of thumb, don't lose focus.
