@blog4change Try to imagine how much Gas, Oil and Coal would cost if the oil rigs, refineries and mines were manned by public sector union members. Then calculate the pensions and retirement packages they would get after working for 20 years, then being eligible for retirement and drawing pensions for another 40 years of non-productive living. After the first 40 years, the taxpayers would be on the hook for three generations of workers, only one of which would actually be producing.

@Lao3Lang2 So, Mr Conservative made an illegal alien detector law voluntary so Corporations didn't have to check to see if workers were legal. How surprising. How wold this have created jobs? @hangthesobs Actually, the Republicans have a number of bills that would create jobs. The most powerful of these is the E-Verify bill, that was fought against by Gingrich every step of the way. When it was passed, in spite of his efforts, he managed to make compliance with the new LAW voluntary. Now, can someone explain to me how compliance with a law can be voluntary?

@blog4change uh.... considering that the revolution was based in gov't being overbearing (taxation w/o representation), i would say that means they wanted "smaller gov't". the constitution was designed to never let the gov't gain power over the people. considering that my previous post is MONTHS old, i'm suprised you didn't take some time to do some fucking homework before replying. you can't even troll properly. kill yourself.
