What Kevin is trying to show is that lions are not just mindless killers... and not just lions but all animals are capable of the same range of emotions as any human is. Just as you can come to understand your dog and love them both ways you can form that relationship with just about any animal that is social... Lions, as he said, are the most social cat.

Kevin doesn't do anything amazing. He just treats his animals with respect and shows them the love they show him. Lions have attacked and/or killed plenty of people mainly when the lion is being threatened or dominated by a human and that lion proves how wrong that person is. People will say lions are maneaters.. Umm... Humans are animals too which most of the world seems to forget. Prides are very family oriented getting in is hard... once in, you are family. So...
