Eric Holder's Injustice

Attorney General Eric Holder's decision to bring self-professed 9/11 mastermind Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and four of his alleged co-conspirators to trial in New York City is a disaster. Barring a repetition in civilian court of an earlier confession, it is at least as likely that the terrorist known internationally by his initials, KSM, will be set free as it is that he will be executed for the murder of nearly 3,000 innocent Americans eight years ago. http://www.centerforsecuritypolicy.org/p18232.xml

@TheoriginalGrumphy : What if the "animals" you refer to think of us as "the great satins" and believe firmly that to die as martyrs in the "great satin's" court system is the ultimate victory? Are we not playing into their hands by putting them on trial? What is the remedy to win "hearts and minds" in a court system that the accused and his followers does not respect nor believe in? We have to do something with these people. Keeping them at Guantanimo is giving us a bad name and helping Al Queda recruitment. Bush wanted to shut down Guantanimo, but couldn't figure out how to do it. I think it's a good move and a lot of 9/11 survivors want to see them get justice in an American court of law.

Follow history's lesson folks: England, after bleeding her souls to rid a hapless Europe of Napoleon, put this one threat to peace on an island deep in the Atlantic where no one could ever hear from or know if him ever again. These terrorists should be locked away for eternity, and never heard from again. That would be the most detrimental thing to do for their cause. Executing them would make martyrs of them, which is just what they live for everyday - to die for Allah and get some virgins

This is Holder's way of getting to George Bush. He wanted Bush on trial and because he can't get him he'll do the next best thing.  Bring out accusations of torture will do nothing more then put the Bush administration on trial.

Very disturbing. It seems that President Obama is willing to throw all New Yorkers under the bus just so he can fulfill a campaign promise and meet an arbitrary deadline. It could be even more sinister. This could be nothing more than a diversion, a head fake. Obama's personal game of choice is basketball, remember. Mr. Gafney, what effects do you think the trial of KSM will have on civilian justice system? For example, If KSM doesn't have to be Mirandized, then why does anyone?

Attorney General Eric Holder is, without a doubt, either totally clueless or simply evil.
