@79pensacola Your reaction is natural for someone who doesn't understand what Kwanzaa is. Kwanzaa isn't a religious holiday. It's a cultural holiday. Someone who celebrates Christmas can celebrate Kwanzaa and vice versa.
Africa is the birthplace of humanity and the entire world has eaten off of Africa's plate in the form of natural resources, human resources and ideas. If your home is plagued, as you say, wouldn't it still hold a special place in your heart?
