the stainles mora is not bad at all, they dont buy cheap chinese stainles steel like other knife makers, there stainles steel is an very good scandinavian quality steel made by sandvik that is as good as carbon steel, nice video by the way

@richardah1 Carbon Steel knives are ALL susceptible to rusting because of the High Carbon content... However this can be mostly alleviated by giving them a patina this is a good form of rust on the bade that prevent bad rust. I wash my blade with dish soap, then I stick them in a cup of red wine vinegar and after about 20mins I get a really nice dark black blade coating.

The BEST part about a Mora, not only is the ridiculous value.... If you lose it or break it your like O well, guess I'll spend another $10 bucks...................

I have over 9 Moras now, they are so cheap I just have one every where, Boat, backpack, car, truck, motorcycle bag, kitchen draw, tool box, tackle box, I have one in the BBQ grill draw. They are fantastic knives, I beat the ever living crap out of mine and Ive not broken it yet! My BOB bag has 2 of them and a gerber gator machete, Bushlore...

@bikenutter1 Mora knives are made to a specific traditional method using top quality preperation and heat treating, Mora knives are cheap and very versatile, meaning you can get years of use out of just 1 $12 dollar Mora clipper. The handles are a very hard polymer and if you really really try hard to break it by battoning wrongly you can! Mora's for the most part hold great edges, have great wear resistance, and can be sharped to a wicked razor edge...

I love my moras! but, be carefull, if you get bitten by the mora bug there is no cure but to buy lots more moras. my wife "procured" 2 of my moras for kitchen detail, and she aint giveing them back! O'well, gotta buy 2 more i guess.

well i am going to buy the laminated steel one but i would like to know if it is really good...i mean it is supposed to be the best metal but i was thinking about triflex too... i am also a bit worried about the wooden handle and the rubber one.what would you recomend?

I've watched a LOT of Mora/general knife reviews and no-one has anything unnique to say about them, or any way to really distinguish them from another knife. They all say "Yeah great knife". So what?! That tells me nothing, tell me what makes it stand out from the next one, or what makes it unique, sheeshe, I'm going to have to start my own channel to show you it seems.

Good point about knowing the capabilities of a knife. Thanks for sharing the different knives. I agree about trying out different knives and finding the best to suit your own personal needs and preferences. These knives will not suit every need but, You really can't go wrong with the Mora knives when you consider price and quality.
