I am demoing 2 of the 4 channels of the mode four, the first two on amp one:

Clean:
Classic Marshall clean setting, the clean gain on this is one of my favorite things about this amp. Turn it up and you gut a slightly overdrive sound, nice.

Crunch:
This is biased on a high gain JCM800, its used for metal and alternative stuff. This is considered the loudest channel on the amp! If I compare it to the other overdrives on this amp, it seem to be more volume biased overdrive. The volume is what pushes it.

And I did use the reverb in this demo along with the full EQ section including the Bass, Middle, Trebble, Resonance, Presence, and the Scoop button.

  • dude, plz help me, i have this amp for 3 days, and dont know hot to use, give me a point like: 1- connect the guitar with amp....

  • @rtermnc2 Plug it into your speaker cab. Select a channel turn the volume and gain up. Turn the master volume up. Make sure that the tuner mute is not on.

  • @itsGoboboy Also… This is really loud right? I mean 350watts?

  • @animeaddict24711 Yes! It could fill a concert hall easily, and you get a lot better tone out of your head running it at a higher volume. In a world of PA systems tho it doesn't matter how load it gets because you can always mic the cab or use the line out that this head has. Its not as loud as a 100 watt tube amp with KT88s, but it still gets the job done, best clean sound I've heard.

  • @itsGoboboy If I wanted a full stack to go with this, can you recommend Marshall cabs that would go with this?

  • @animeaddict24711 I use a 1960 lead, but the Marshall mode four cabs I have heard are great too.

  • Strats are too twangy... how come everyone that has this amp does a demo with a strat... I don't get it.

  • @itsGoboboy It need to be plugged in to a cab? It can just be played as the head individually?

  • @itsGoboboy LOL i found the problem... just replaced battery in guitar :) and BANG!! great cleans :) (little bit ashamed i didn't think of that before)

  • @Kievit15 Well those pickups don't make for a very good clean sound because they have such a high output. Have you tried different guitars?

  • When i use my active humbuckers (emg 81/85) on the clean channel i always get this ugly crackling sound. is this normal ?? i bought it just a week ago second hand so...
