  • Does anyone know where to buy a copy of this song in mp3 or on cd? I checked itunes, amazon.com, and every other online music shop and can't find this.

  • I saw him 22 years ago in Syracuse and have never been able to find any more of his recordings till now. I bought his cassette tape and wore it out. It's hard to believe a guy like this is virtually unknown. this is like a visit from an old friend.

  • Gorgeous.. Thanks for posting.. !

  • I really enjoy listening to Francisco play the harp. He's mastered those harp strings, as he plucks them so much heart!

    Hi,

I have the "old song for old friends" on cd and for sale. You can get it directly from me, Francisco Gonzalez. E-mail me at fgarpa@msn.com and I will give you the details. I'm glad you liked "Maria de Noche". It's part of a trilogy and the other two parts are on my new CD "The Gift".

  • man i love it reminds me of my grandpa

  • This brings back memories. I went to visit my dad in San Antonio about 22 years ago and I got see him play. My dad and Francisco were friends. My dad was the Chicano poet, Dr. Ricardo Sanchez, he died in '95 but that summer in San Anto when I got to see Francisco play was great. Thanks for posting this.

  • If you can get a copy of "Maria de Noche", which I believe is an original composition by Francisco Gonzalez, it's definitely worth posting. It's absolutely breathtaking. I've been trying fruitlessly to get another copy for over a decade now.

  • @mbflys He's got two albums out the newest one you can download on iTunes and i got some video of him
