Question to you- I saw your helpful vid and well truth b told I don't yet own the D2. My question to you is what would be a good deal on a D2? would 100.00 be good or about what it's worth? Personally, I do not know but from hearing this little thing go makes m think it's worth more than 100.00. I'd appreciate your input on this. Thanks! :)

Yo, what's that midi controller you mentioned in one of your videos? And its got nobs, right?

If you already have a 505 and 909,I wouldn't suggest getting a D2 unless you can pick up one really cheaply. I've been playing around with mine again over the last few days. it's really a fun cut down version of the 505 - I'd like eventually to collect all the grooveboxes - I'm waiting to pick up 909 when I can get one cheap - each box is slightly different, each one does something different from the others - Like I've heard - he 808 sampler is great as long as you don't through out your 505

I have a D2 - I love it - To find more functions - hit the edit button in the bottom right while your doing different things - you'll stumble on features you weren't aware were there.
The D2 has most of the same features and sounds as an MC 505 - the drawbacks are it's lack or twiddly nobs - i have an MC 505 aswell - the D2 has few more sounds - all the same features as an MC505 but not the twiddly knobs - you have to go through several key sequences to get the same controls.
hey, castelvania theme!
you can edit the sound with the software "mc 505 edit". some searchengines will help you.

@krassomatenkrass I had no idea that there was such a nice program for the 505. it looks like it will save alot of wear and tear from occuring on my sampler.
thanks krass

you can change the pich and filter to the sounds. but what do you mean by the deat d2 sounds? if you meant can you edit the factory patterns you can. I am planning to make another video with a few other things i forgot to put in. congrats on getting one, once you get the hang of it you will love it. :)
