Playing our cover of Stormy Monday by the Allman Brothers "actually it's a t-bone walker song" ;-)

This is just the guitar solo and the last verse... what a fun gig it was. Teatro Galletti, Domodossola, Italy - Oct 2009...

Northsyde:
Lorna Fothergill - vocals
me - noisy stringed instrument
Ian Mauricio - not quite as noisy stringed instrument
Hayden Doyle - noisy drums

  • a bit Peter Green'ish - nice

  • I think he's played the Guitar before. :o) Some parts reminded me of lynyrd skynyrd which is stretching the memory valves back some good with a lil smoke.

But this is good to my ears. Not much impresses me but this did. It looked like you were all enjoying it as well.

I think Lorna's power is in this style. Rocks for me anyway.

    Armstrong.

HEY! Where's all the due comments for this piece then? The worlds gone into keyboard retardation or bloody what???? :)

  • so... good... smart, intelligent...

  • brilliant.

  • Great playing. Great solo. Great guitar. Great video.

Keep these blues solos coming. They're super.

Oh and Lorna's singing on this very much reminds me of Marcy Levy's on Clapton's 13-minute rendition from the 'Blues' album (...great record).
