@masterstouchlawncare: We recommend storing mats deflated with the valves open. A good place to store them is under a bed, although if you have cats we suggest finding a spot they can't get to. Those claws just don't make friends with mats. For storing them on narrow shelves feel free to fold the mat once or twice. The main thing is to allow the insulation to loft a bit during storage.
