The fully restored and fully working SdKfz Foundation Jagdpanther firing it's main gun at a public Military event in 2005 here in the UK. Each of the blanks were specifically made for this gun and were reported to have cost £280 each, very much appreciated being able to see this self propelled gun in action and feel the full force of the blast, even being stood at the rear it was still significant.

  • Shooting blanks... Duh. Blanks don't go as loud as live ones.

  • Quite a formidable weapon in it's time. Would do a bit of damage these days too. Cool vid.

  • Btw 88mm L56 = dead stuff, gota give the germans credit for making the best sounding stuff in ww2 lol. Between it the MG42 and the Stuka I would have shit my pants at lest once, and turtled a couple of times 0_o.

  • @6669Anthrax tbh the US and the Russia won "A" war. Both helped each other when there was no more help needed. We (US) landed in France when Germany was on the ropes and Russia joined in when we had Japan starving and isolated. However I do have to say if it was not for American early war production Russia and England would have been doomed. But I also think that the invasion of Manchuria by Russia did just as much as the two nukes to shorten the pacific war.

  • Dear santa.....

  • how the allies won the war ? :P acctully the soviets won the war

  • the scariest thing in the day i would of hated to be in the Army back then God Bless all of the troops back then praise god for all of them

  • @HermannWillie90 Trumpeter :D Dragon - Very Nice. O.O TAMIYA?! I hear it can be expensive for the big models - I once see a big Jagdpanther 1:48 in my local hobby store - it cost more than 45 AUD :( but it was a nice late production war Jagdpanther
