I kept getting phone calls from a debt collector the other night, and I decided to take matters into my own hands and confuse the heck out of the poor guy. And yes, I recorded every second of it.
Sorry that there's no video or picture of Justin Bieber or even annoying little dancing stick figures to go with the video. Just enjoy as I get revenge on a debt collector.
(Side note: No, I don't avoid my bills, but there was some confusion on the part of the cell phone company when I left them to change providers. They literally gave me 5 days to pay my last bill before they turned the bill over to collections...which makes me feel even more justified in turning the tables during this conversation!)
That was fuckin priceless!!

THAT is hilarious! It totally throws people for a loop when you know your rights, no one is used to that.

I'm all for giving people a hard time when they deserve it. I am currently in a similar situation and I wish to give my doctor's office a hard time, still figuring out the plan of a attack.

toll free calls are governed by tcc when you call a toll free number you can recorded with without notifing them. Toll Free exchanges = Federal Jurisdiction EVEN if the business is located in say an all party consent state such as California. I record calls ALL the time. I get around all party states by calling the toll free number instead of the toll number. But if the toll number is for example in Texas I call that one instead and record. Sometimes, I tell them but I am not required to.
