@TheCarmillaShow Sorry but I'd rather wear gloves and/or use hand disinfectant instead of risking giving food poisoning to my family. There are differences between restaurant and home kitchen hygiene demands, but then again, the bacteria don't know the difference. And taking that most home kitchens are way filthier than professional kitchens - better be safe than sorry.

@Kezco123 Yes, when you work at a restaurant, or any other place that serves food, then you should wear gloves, but when it's for family or close friends, and as long as you run your hands under some water with some soap before and after, I don't think its the biggest deal in the world.

@TheCarmillaShow I am a cook. You should always wear gloves when you're preparing food that's not going to get cooked afterwards. Especially if you're working with meat, dairy or eggs.

@Kezco123 Ask any cook, its better to go bare hand when cooking, just wash em first, which she did not do by the way.

@Evange my grandma says that all the time it makes no sense

Thank god I can use glass since I don't have plastic. I was afraid the cream cheese wouldn't taste the same if I didn't use plastic...
