After failing to call us to make an appointment to see the CEO Patricia Hemingway Hall, we returned to the office to try and see her again.
We brought with us two customers of BCBS who were turned down due to "pre-existing conditions." One of the women, who lost her coverage when she was laid off approached BCBS for a policy after her COBRA ran out. They quoted her coverage, then found out she had MS and rescinded the offer and told her to seek coverage at iCHIP (The State Insurance Program.)
Ironic for a company actively lobbying against the Public Option.
Hence the need to speak with Patricia Hemmingway Hall.
[Thanks to Kate for the additional Camera angle.]
