This is a video about homemade vapor carburetor (sorry for a few mistakes in text)

I use some plumbing pipes and three 1/2 inch valves. For petrol tank I use plastic container. is working
Well I know that I use wrong engine for that kind of vapor fuel sistem, but I just want to know if this thing is working.

  • now mesure if you HAVE a rich or poor mixture, because you dont WANT TO FUK UP YOUR ENGINE DO YOU?

  • @99XM

Well, this engine was already old and not working well, so I took apart it. Now I use it for parts if I need them.

  • umm.... how is the motor not goiong to internally melt itself without the liquid oil/gas to cool/lubricate it? heh. cool though

  • @penrynpatriot

Well I know that the two stroke engines cannot lubricate with that fuel vapor sistem. So I don't use that kind of engines anymore.

  • It'd work great on a generator.

Throttle response seems to be an issue with all of the methods I've seen so far.

  • @sgtjasonshrout

If i had a generator i would definitely make it on the fuel vapors, but with a little bit advanced system.

It's very difficult to make a proper fuel mix on my Tomos engine and i need some time with opening and closing the valves.

  • @goodmechanic ur a fucking dumbass

  • remeber that lighter factions of the fuel or whatever get used first. many now this but i hope i worded it right. I was having problems with my geet with the gas becoming less combustable in short of amount of time

  • and all this tme i though my car engine ran on gasoline vapor!!!!!? :,) lol :-) lol ;') lol

  • nice thing, :) now if it runs on vapors than the exhaust gases are much cleaner and you could add them to the air intake of your gasoline tank to add heat to it, so it will vaporize much better for a long time!

  • That's a crude carburetor and not a vapor system. The plastic container is your fuel reserve(float bowl). The fuel line SUBMERGED in gas is would be part of your metering/fuel passage system. The first ball valve is your primary jet. The second ball valve that lets in air is your mixing jet. The last ball valve that leads to your intake port is your throttle. To have a real vapor system the fuel must be heated and VAPORS harnessed, not liquid fuel. Nice try though.
