for me, eichmann had no excusses. he knew EXACTLY what he was doing. you look at video of him at trial, & he seems like a meek, harmless little man who wouldn't hurt a fly. why would the jews try this man? he's probably innocent. when you turn over the rock, this is what you'd find: he willingly joined the ss; he travelled to palestine to try & find a way of deporting jews; he persecuted jews in vienna & prag; he attended wansee; he visited auschwitz, sobibor & treblinka; no sympathy from me.

i'm not exactly sure what eichmanns vienna model was. i do know that he rode in with the anscluss in '38. i know he began forcing jews to leave the country & confiscate their property; valuable paintings, jewlry, homes & businesses as payment. the persecution began almost immediately. of course you know that there were many suicides. eichmann was very arrogant & uncompromising. some of the jews that he put pressure on testified at his trial. i have never seen this Krakow-Auschwitz to Auschwitz
