  • Have loved "By the Fireside" on Windham Hill's "A Winter's Solstice II" for yrs., decided I must hear/buy/have more of Bill Mathieu's music if possible. I love jazz 2nd only to classical. Sounds like Bill is 1 of the increasing no. of crossover artists equally at home & equally good in either. This is great jazz, mellow yet lively and hip. Thx., Bill.

  • Wonderful, great tune, great arrangement, great musicianship, and so many bald or greying heads keeping the flame alive. Loved it. Many thanks.
