This is John Walson's second recent 'trip to the moon', and we're invited to travel along courtesy of his digital camcorder and modified Meade telescope which team up to lay out a fascinating visual feast of the Moon's surface features.... including some interesting anomalies.




In some of John's enlarged close-up footage of the surface, we see one such form which is suggestive of an intelligently created spacecraft. Or, is it just a trick of light and shadow? The object certainly appears much 'whiter' than the adjacent formations.

you did use the telescope Meade LX90 right?. Only this? If I buy one I will have the same close up or I need others stuffs, like lens or zooms?

@MrDontuo The moon travels across the sky very fast compared to something billions of times further away. Using hubble to view the moon would be like using your Bugatti to nip to the store for milk.
