  • Hi Bonsai9723, Kudos on the video and the pot you threw. I'd like to extend a special invitation to our new gardening website ahead of its launch this week on Wednesday.

YourGardenShow is a social network and would be a new audience for bonsai. The YGS founders are Lisa and Tom, farmers who are also community builders. It would be interesting to hear what you think of our site

  • when u get the roots above the spagnum moss, dont they die? i love the look but never understood how that works.

  • I'm digging the cereus in the background.

  • i really like the nebari on this tree! very mature looking.

  • for the most part, yes! shrubs are better for beginners (full size tree varieties take a lot of care). but annuals are not very good for bonsai...

  • i like bonsais but the sad thing is i only have one...so far...because i just started with them.

  • thats a good little vid, so u can turn any old plant into a bonsai?
