  • Forget about practicing what you preach it is about preaching what you practice. Too many Pastors jump on the scene and preach first and then try to live it-- thats why elders and preachers should not be novices, they need to grow and mature to the point where they are preaching what they have been practicing for years

  • I've observed that some "Chritians"have such an unloving, unforgiving spiritand have mistakenly appointed themselves spokesmen for God.God forbid!Tye Tribbett, please do not let them take your joy.God Forgives!!!!Period........People condemning you and using "the Word"to keep you in guilt, have issues of their own. Some of them don't know if their coming or going. You stay encoraged and look to God;for if you look and depend on some "Christians",you will remain bound and chained.

  • @jamel11234 Well said. And those are the ones with egos.

  • Tye got Whopper Jr. hands...

  • Tye Tribbett is one of those people tha i just love lol i mean he is so sincere about his life and his christian walk, that i personally am able to look beyond his faults. not that i am jesus of course, im just talking personally. There are few people for me that have that kind of quality about them and he is one of them. I think he is awesome.

  • @jamel11234 I know of a Pastor who said in the pulpit that he has struggles with tithes and offerings messages and therefore rarely teaches on the matter. Just because he struggles with it doesn't mean that he isn't responsible to teach on it. If we wait till "Pastors" have "MASTERED/MATURED" what they preach..I think we'll be waiting a long time to hear thOSE messages/lessons..if they ever get preached.. Jesus already "Mastered" life so when it's all said and done lets follow His example...

  • @jamel11234 Ummm I respect your opinion on the matter but I don't agree with that. No one is going to be perfect and how would we ever be able to preach about anything if we lived by that philosophy. Messages aren't preached so ppl can solely look at the pastor/leader and c if they line up. Yes it's important 4 Pastor's to walk it out but Jesus is our ULTIMATE example, so we r of course effected by it but it shouldn't stop us from doing what WE need to be doing.

  • "For a saint is just a sinner, who fell down...and GOT UP!" Praise God for Tye's testimony. It's interesting...those who are quick to pass judgment on others, are sinking in sin themselves. Check yourselves.

  • @jamel11234 Oooooohhhh. I actually used "preach what you practice" but not in THIS context. Dope. Don't be mad....Im using this with the youth at my church. MAN!

  • Ok the man cheated. But look at him. Ain't no way those hoes that slept with him would have slept unless he had money and fame. Why are men the ones who have exercise restraint when most women would gladly whore themselves out for a man with money, fame or both.

  • @blackhumanity103 so true i wish this wasnt soo, but many christians are so backwards... its rediculous
