I have bipolar I disorder with rapid cycling. I rapid cycle in 24 hours, every 24 hrs. My mania occurs at night & my depressions occur during the day. I can't sleep throughout the night without bipolar medication. I'm too manic. At age 12, a psychiatrist diagnosed me with depression. At Age 14 the diagnosis was Anxiety. At age 18, it was depression again. At age 22 they finally diagnosed me with bipolar I disorder. Since then, I've had great success with meds, therapists & lifestyle changes.
