Living in Wilmington, it is quite a story! There were indeed misprints and misinterpretations of stimulus money regarding Clinton County, Ohio, where Wilmington is located. Businesses and non-profits benefitted from the visit, and people are still heading to town to visit. That has been a good thing. The prayer room is manned by several folks that come to pray when they are working or looking for work.

Thats a great story! For those of you who dont know the town mostly worked at a manufacturing plant and when it went out of business instead of giving up the people came together as a community to help each other!

I heard that Jen's and the Bookstore were able to hire back 3 people as a result of the book signing! And other businesses benefitted. That's a solid economic boost.

Ey Glenn Beck, how about that unemployment in Wilmington, above 16%. He must have seen alot of "help wanted" signs on every window of every business, since there is so many lower paying jobs openings out there, but those communists wont take it, and rather collect on unemployment checks. This is the hypocrite that was against extension of unemployment benefits, and now dares to walk in a town devastated by unemployment. I guess his mormon praying must have help alot. Let the poor die.

Wilmington did take 10 million dollars in stimulus money... They have asked for 60 million in the beginning, but only got 10. It is amazing how ignorant people can be.

So, they won't take any stimulus money yet I'm sure they have highways, police, fire department, all of that. Would they rather that money go to Wall Street? They have a person praying 24 hours a day. How's that working out for them? How long have they been praying? 1 year? 2 years? How many people have lost their homes while this praying has been going on? 2 hands working does more than a a thousand clasped in prayer. What a bunch of dumb asses. They deserve what they get.

I wonder who else in this Country should solve the countrys problems? Like the crooked arrogant outrageously over paid elected officials! the only time they care about the people is at election time. Rothschilds really got them controlled!

I thought Glenn Beck would do a tour of the town to show everybody what it was like so people would visit and support the town, but instead Glenn wasted time on the stupid Santa Stuff and talking about his life. He has been doing a good job before this, but is getting into himself more & more I notice. He helped the Deaf Child and that was nice, but he made sure everybody knew about it. Gleen needs to stick to the country's problems and how to solve them and stop talking about his life
