My question is : I lost ALL my factory presets within ALL plugins "How do i locate and restore these Factory Preset settings?" Kodiac Enterprises...."On Board To The Future"

  • @KodiacEnterprises Hello I think the best thing to do is reinstall pro tools. I could not find a better or quicker solution then this after searching around.

Let me know how it goes and what you end up doing to get the problem solved

    Talk to you soon

  • @WiNKsound : Thanks alot, i shall give it a try, but do i risk loosing any other Protools files and of Info when i uninstall?

  • @KodiacEnterprises Do you mean your sessions? No you wont loose your sessions. What I do is write down anything that may be of importance before I go uninstalling. Maybe back up the sessions or any important info on an external just to be safe. Always good to play it safe with these kind of things. You can always get rid of it later if it is not needed.

    Hope that helped

  • i was wondering how do actually organize your settings with in a plug-in folder?

  • You can also just hold down alt and drag the plug-in from the one channel to the other...

  • ey, pjdamisfit thank you for your question. You should still see the factory default bar within the plugin window in pt 7.4. In 7.4 you will see that there is a button with arrows pointing up and down. By clicking on the button with the up and down arrows, a saving menu will open up, which will let you save the plugin presets.
