  • Kinda cheap on the first keyboardist's arpeggios, hitting the octave button...not that he doesn't smoke me, just thought that was cheap...

  • @ricaard Evey decade had its signature sounds, and simply because tastes have shifted now towards more organic or vintage tones, I don't think it's fair to call them cheap. BTW, Tommy I found an old VI video from NAMM where you guys jam on several tunes and Jan Hammer comes up on stage for this one, very cool.

  • @KeYan27 You are too kind...Tommy

  • @clarkpegasus4001 I have to laugh at your comment. I definitely was going for it in my moment, it was my only solo in the whole set and I wasn't going to waste any time...lol. I actually prefer to play really open and simple but on that band stand it's hard to be laid back. I will never have the chops of those guys but I did my best...:)))

  • Well only thing i can say is, i admire both the Coster's but i love Tommy Coster Jr. the most ........ My handsome Husband :)) i will always admire you most

  • My mate had this on video, we played it to death. This is fusion at it's best. Gambale is on fire. This is now in my faves!

  • Tom Sr.'s solo was probably my favorite. He just seems to say what needs to say without overplaying or showing off.

  • 4:17 - 4:32

    Such power!

  • Man, Tom Coster jr's solo is outstanding. (Just as well as any moment of this performance, actually ;-) ) And he was what, like 25? This gig must have been absolute dope! He is playing alongside genuine monters, and he has nothing to be ashamed of, that is impressive. Great job.

  • Personally, I love the playing of both Costers, father and son. Great musicians. Gambale, what can I say that I haven't already said about my personal favorite fusion guitarist. Have met and talked with FG and Coster Sr. a few times and they are as classy people as you would ever want to meet.

  • @ricaard I wasn't offended at all...lol. Just wanted to make sure that you knew I know my place:) As far as anyone smoking anyone else, that's crap. We all have something to offer as human beings and artists. YouTube is awesome as a distribution mechanism but the haters and egos here are something else, but that's another story. You all have a great weekend...T

  • @droptopmalibu ...so that they don't have to change keys for real. A lack of keyboard knowledge. I meant no harm...
