Call of Duty Black Ops stuttering/poor performance

A vid to show how poorly optimized Call of Duty Black Ops is for PC.
There is countless posts on forums and youtube on how poor the game runs on most high end units in cluding mine.... PC gamers are suffering from stuttering, lag, huge frame drops and just generally unacceptable performance.

Graphics settings:
all details = low/tiny/off
AAx4
1280* resolution

My unit specs are:

Q9400 @ 3.7Ghz
GTX 460 1GB DDR5 (super clocked)
4GB DDR3 RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit

Frame rate seems to go up from low 20's right to 91 (highest capped) and then back down... in this vid however its barely reaching 40-50.

If anyone has any news on patch updates or working fixes, please inbox me.

my specs are..

windows 7 ultimate 32 bit

amd athlon 64 dual core processor

hd 5770

direct x 11

shud i do anything wid d direct x of my games???make it 11???

@simpleirfan19 it could be your cpu, also how much ram you got? most games will stutter if you have less than 2gig, but id probably put it down to the cpu..... i wouldn't try to run games in DX11 with that card unless your running really low res or your running crossfire.

The game is literally unplayable becaue Treyarch horribly messed up the netcode. They implemented a routine to adapt to host advantages etc, which results in a CONSTANT frame lag.

Most people who say it doesn't lag, are just not experienced enoughto even tell. It is IMPOSSIBLE the game doesn't lag. There is ALWAYS a frame lag, especially when the game calculates hits etc.

Seriously, this is the worst FPS game I've ever seen.

@megatroll lmao, well according to Treyarch, Frostbite 2.0 (Battlefield 3 engine) is visually stunning, but Treyarch could update "their" 20 odd year old Quake engine, to be as stunning and have as much destruction as Frostbite 2.0....... thats 1 of the funniest things iv read in a long time.

a simple thing, but changing it from windowed to full screen improves performance dramtically. it still sucks, but not as much :)
