@aoaforever1Dude the front axle is mess up and no way hooking that up on axle but to tow the hooks on bumper and I had done this before when I had to tow a truck back from NJ to Utah with that setup as long the safety Chain are hook up as well.

Dude do you even know what is wrong with that tractor? The front axle is broke. If he hooked his undereach to the axle it would rip right off. We usually hook tractor trailers up by the axle but sometimes you can't. When we run into that situation we use that towing method and it works great and it is safe. The shackles serve as lifting because the tow hooks are the strongest part. Then we hook chains from the frame to the undereach for pulling power.

I would fire an operator if I ever saw one of mine hook a tractor up like that and go down the road with it, no reason for that but being pure lazy! - VERY UNSAFE!!!

I remember my first big rig tow. I was overwhelmed! It just takes time to get use to it, then before you know it it will get alot easier.
