  • Austin A40 !!!!!! Yes!!!

  • has the car been reregistered , because a reg is 1963 , not 1961 !

  • Seems like the oil cap is the least of your problems!

  • Nice car. I am a little confused as it is seems to be a Mk 2, bigger grill on the front and the black dashboard, but does not have the full opening hatch at the back, raised window and dropdown boot lid.

My first car was a 1960 Mk 1 A40 in the same colour UKG 536, I had it in 1973, later on I had Morris minors and then went on to 1100s and even a VDP1300 auto.

  • Thankyou for sharing this.

  • so this car only sits 2 people, dang it...thinking of buying one.

  • lester piggott had 1

  • Wow . My very first car!

  • The MK1 is the one to own, very economical as the body style has about the same aerodynamics as a Porsche 911. I've owned 3 of these; these do break back axles + have a lousy kingpin front suspension setup
