@macadom222 Oh! Murattu kalai song. Sampling of a song is legal. Just like how Elephunk & MIA sampled IR's songs for theirs. After the initial pallavi, what follows is a trademark IR fusion of folk and western. IR hates lifts to the core, in his early days he probably had not refined the art of giving producers, directors and actors when they bring a tape and say "I want this" but in later yrs he did. Btw, I made a mistake in the song name. It's Endha poovilum vaasam undu, in Murattu Kaalai. Now let me see you refute my point. If you want, I can show you the proof it's a rip off.

Also I grew up listening to IR songs. Still listen to many of his classics. So don't give me that "you have never head IR's songs.." God, who in India hasn't heard his songs??!!
