Sam Houston was way too skinny to pull this off. Magnum was small but way more muscular. Same was close to Dusty but not as flabby.

Does anyone know who does this version of Midnight Rider?

That was quite a nasty spill out of the ring at 3:22.

@TheBlueCollarScholar In my opinion, that being said, today's WWE's job is to make you "FORGET about WRESTLING and enjoy the hour-long-plus dialogue inside the 'squared circle,' PERIOD!"

@TheBlueCollarScholar well said.... agree :)

@sparkieg45 Yeah, he had help with Anderson and Rhodes but look what happened once Turner bought out Crockett. Ratings and attendance went way down after about a year and Runnels and Anderson were still working for Turner. Don't sell Crockett short.

@bull864 Just for clarification sake, Jim Crockett wasn't the genious behind the angles and bookings. Virgil Runnels, Ole Anderson and some of the other writers were. Jim Crockett was the figure head of the company. Vince learned his craft from his father, and the Crocketts, and Bill Watts...the list is long and distinguished.

NWA was so awsome in it's day! Jim Cornettte then was great,. He got on my nerves after NWA. And Bill Mulkey was the greatest as his brother Randy ruled as well!
I get tired of hearing how much of a genius vince is. I'll admit, he is a good businessman, but he doesn't know shit about wrestling. I miss the days of NWA being led by Jim Crockett, a true wrestling genious.

i remember watching this as a boy. i hated jim cornette then, but now, looking back, he was an absolute genius at selling an angle.
his job was to make you hate him, and he did his job well.
