This is not the original video file it was snagged off youtube with tubetilla. In early 2007, I saw all sorts of game videos on youtube. Back in 2002 I had the wisdom to video tape me exploring the
secret "glitch" worlds of the original Metroid for NES. Since I had this tape I decided to add to the game vidz on youtube. Since my Metroid cartridge has an armorless Samus code on back, I decided to feature that as well, for those might never have seen her in her bathing suit. This actually turned out to be one of my more successful vidz getting over 10,000 views in several months, and more since that initial rush. Who knows how far it will go? This vid proves that crazy comedy on youtube takes a backseat to vidz with hints and tips on video games of all generations. I used my original Hi8 to video tape the tv screen playing the VHS footage, as I narrated the action in a darkened room. Then I ran that through a Dazzle 80 into the computer and did my edit on that crappy Pinnacle software. No, I was not high when I did this, as many have asked. I was green to the whole video thing still and didn't really know what to say, I wasn't gunna script it, it's just a little game vid. I'd probably make it funny today, like JamesNintendoNerd. I wouldn't copy him, I'd use my own style. It took me 1 hour to shoot this and maybe 20mins to edit.
Not sure if you know or not, but the reason the glitch worlds exist, is because the entire game is one large map.
Each time you use an elevator, the game changes room type (Hence why it goes Norfair > Ridley's Lair or other things like that).
When you go up through the ceiling, you are actually going back in to Norfair, however, since you didn't take the elevator, it still looks and is set up like Ridley's Lair (Same applies for other areas), hence why it is glitched.
